DENVER - May 23, 2018- On Saturday, June 2 from 1 – 8 p.m. Dozens of food trucks will line Welton Street from 25th Street to 29th Street in Five Points for the first event of Truck Stop: Food Truck Rally Summer Series. Two Parts will partner with Mile High Festivals again this year to create a memorable community celebration and honor the neighborhood in which the food festival made its inaugural debut.
“Having Truck Stop back in Five Points for its first installment of the year is exciting simply because we are bringing people together,” said Norman Harris, owner of Mile High Festivals. “The experience that Mile High Festivals brings in regard to understanding the cultural heritage of Five Points paired with the innovative concept from Two Parts is an awesome combination with great outcomes.”
The food truck rally will explore the ever-evolving world of food truck fare through small-bite offerings, local craft beer and cocktail selections and a soundtrack of local music, all set against the vibrant backdrop of the Five Points neighborhood.
Participating food trucks offer options ranging from Mexican and Latin-inspired eats to down-home comfort food. The current lineup of trucks includes:
- Mexican and Latin: Arepas Queen, Chivis Tacos, Cuban Fusion, Dog Gringos, Lomito Gourmet, Tacos With Altitude, The Road Runner 7
- American: Amazingly Tasty Eats, Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, Farmer Joe’s, Nomad Street Cuisine, Beef King
- Comfort and BBQ: Big G’s BBQ, Rolling Smoke BBQ, Seasoned Swine 3
- Eclectic: Baba’s Falafel, Cirque Kitchen, Gyros King, Muzo on Fire, Original by Greeks, Radical Sasquatch Dumpling Company, Street Frites Mobile Eatery, VX-3 Mobile Food Unit
- Seafood: Barbed Wire Reef, Maineiac Lobster Company

Musical acts will keep the tunes going all day. The musical lineup includes: MU$A, Sethe, Mile High Soul Club, Venus Cruz, Nakira, Alex Anderson, Clay Cornelius and Gods of Groove featuring Secs Peterson.
